Our house was built in 1886. It was built by Robert Waugh on land that he purchased for $25 dollars. The house is registered in the National Register of Historic Places and there is a bronze plaque on the front of the house. We will be posting some interior pictures of the house on Monday! 8-1-2009

So glad you are reviving the house. My twenty-five years there would never have been enough. Any info you want I am happy to help. There are several articles I wrote about it.
I seriously thought about coming back but Oh No! It takes more energy than I have. So Sorry about the walls. Only paper works as any more plaster, etc just cracks again. I hope all the messages and historcal signatures are still there. I had found some period paper that was more enduring to sort of hide flaws. HA!
Wow I got to look at more of your website. You have taken on a BIG job. Holy Muriars! We bought at the same ages you are and were on our way! The kids were the first born in sixty years or so.
Josh told me about visiting a couple of years ago. Were you there then?
