Tonight Floyd and I worked our butts off at our old house. We will be ready to list by this weekend which has me in a happy little frame of mind since that means we get to work on this magnificent house! Just thought I would let you guys know! I hate not being able to put updates but I want to put up entries with pictures and tons of info! I just can’t do that right now since other then cooking and cleaning, nothing is happening in the eight sided house!
Oh! Speaking of cooking, I make potatoe soup the other day since its been a tad on the chilly side. I don’t know what it is about this house that makes me adore cooking but I just love it! Maybe its being in my cheery kitchen! Anyhow, so easy to make and it is the best comfort food ever! Makes me feel warm and toasty! I also made an apple crisp tonight that was quite delicious too!
Continue to keep me in your prayers health wise. I know I don’t talk about my health issues too indepth on this blog (it is all about the house afterall!) but I’m just been battling quite a bit lately. After much thought and prayer, Floyd and I have decided that we had to take a more drastic step. Because of my blood disease and other serious complications, I unfortunatly have to have a hysterectomy. Its completely devestating and has me wondering what God is doing. I always wanted a big family and this house seemed like such an answer to that prayer. But now, at 23 years old, my life is taking a major turn. So please pray for my heart as we set forth on this new journey. No surgery date yet as we are working with insurance and multiple doctors. Its incredibly stressful trying to sell our old house and continue to maintain this one and now to throw this into the mix…its hard not to loose your mind! Anyhow! This house is such a blessing to me and a welcome distraction to my current situation. I can’t wait to get started working here again!

Sorry to hear that. You and your family are in my prayers!
